PAKISTAN AIRSPACE OPEN FOR NORMAL OPERATIONS

In a major relief to all Scheduled and Non-scheduled operators worldwide, Pakistan opened its airspace completely for normal operations. As a result of this, Pakistan Overflights between Europe & India and Far East can now use shorter routes via Northern Pakistan and entering Northern India, thereby using  the most optimised route possible saving fuel and time.

We can safely say that the tremendous pressure that the Operators, Airlines and related FIRs is now eased. It, however, remains to be seen if the Airlines, who had hiked their Air Fares citing the longer routings will come back to the pre-closure routes or will continue with the higher fare levels.
